Soganli Open Air Museum is a place which isn't known that much in Cappadocia. It is so unfortunate because people don't know what they are missing. This is not definitely because of tourists.
It is our fault not to promote this gorgeous valley better.
Soganli Valley, inhabited since 4th century by the Christian Society. They lived in this beautiful valley for centuries and most probably safer than the other people who lived different locations in Cappadocia. The reason for that is, this valley was not on route for anybody and from the books, we don't encounter that many evidences. Probably they didn't have many raids.
Imagine Soganli Open Air Museum like this; Visualize a place, where everything exists except an underground city. Fairy Chimneys, valleys, churches, hiking routes, old Greek houses, farms, local people and souvenir. It is like a full pack of deal.
Even those baby dolls you see all around Cappadocia comes from this village. Check Photo 1 -A.

In my opinion you have to give a chance to this beautiful museum.
